Kate Tebrugge is delighted to be serving her first term on the Board of Directors for Anima Glen Ellyn Children’s Choir. Kate grew up locally, going to Elmhurst University. There she earned majors in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Spanish before leaving for Milwaukee, WI to attend Marquette University, attaining a Masters of Science in Speech-language pathology. In her 17 years as a pediatric speech language pathologist, Kate worked in a variety of clinical settings before landing at West Chicago District 33’s Early Learning Center. Kate has a special interest in the areas of supporting students of diverse backgrounds in bilingual-biliterate-bicultural education, as well as facilitating meaningful inclusion for individuals who benefit from support in the area of communication.
