Grace Bardsley was born and raised in Western Massachusetts, and went to college in Indiana where she received a BA in music composition from Taylor University. She moved to the Fox Valley area in 1980 and was a founding member of St. CharlesSingers, continuing to sing with the choir for 30 years(1984-2014) as well as serving on its board of directors in several positions including president. She served on the board of directors for the St. CharlesArt and Music Festival and was actively involved in fund raising for CASA KaneCounty.

Grace co-owned and operated a successful Kindermusik business for 20 years as well as teaching her own music curriculum, “What If We?…The Quest and Questions of Leonardo and Athena.” She maintained a private piano studio for 15 years. Grace served as director of the Junior Choir, and the Junior and Adult Bell choirs at the Fox Valley Presbyterian Church for four years.

Recently she returned from four years in Greenville, Maine where she was pianist for two local churches and Program Director for Destination Moosehead Lake.

Grace is honored to be serving on the board of directors for Anima and looks forward to promoting this outstanding choir and its mission.
