Eric Bergman is the parent of twins who have enthusiastically participated in Anima Glen Ellyn Children’s Chorus for 5 years. Their growth both as singers and as independent, confident individuals has secured Eric’s dedicated support of Anima which is reflected in his commitment to serve on the board.

Eric has over 30 years of experience leading and guiding non-profit and volunteer-lead organizations through his leadership positions on half a dozen boards of community and professional organizations. He is excited to bring this considerable experience to the Anima board.

Eric is a retired American Airlines flight attendant who made a mid-life career change and became a registered nurse in 2006. His career as a nurse has included 5 years as a hospice and oncology nurse at Elmhurst Memorial Hospital, as well as 10 years as an international nurse case manager working for a major international travel insurance company. He has lived in Glen Ellyn for 30 years, and currently works from an office in his Glen Ellyn home as a manager for a small insurance company where he is building a population health program.
