Christina Lovely is a Senior Program Officer in the Fellows Program (sometimes known as the “Genius Grants”) at the MacArthur Foundation. Her role at MacArthur includes research and vetting of fellowship candidates and planning convenings of Fellows from across the 40-year history of the program. Prior to joining MacArthur in 2006, she served as program coordinator for the University of Chicago’s Master of Arts Program in the Humanities and as a copy and developmental editor for scholarly books and academic journals. She holds a BA from the University of Notre Dame and an MA from the University of Chicago. Chris lives in Wheaton with her husband and daughter, who is a proud member of Anima’s Concert Chorus.
