Anima – Glen Ellyn Children’s Chorus is proud to announce that three of our choristers are participating in the Lyric Opera of Chicago’s production of Mozart’s “The Magic Flute.” Congratulations to Parker Scribner, who was cast as one of the three Geniis, and to Alex Becker and Ian Brown, who were cast as understudies. We are so proud of you!

Parker is a 7th grader, and he joined Anima – Glen Ellyn Children’s Chorus in 2013, where he developed his love of singing and performing.  In addition to singing, Parker plays percussion and xylophone.

Alex is a 6th grader in his 4th year with Anima.  He plays trombone, piano, and has appeared as a super in 2 previous productions with the Lyric Opera.  He ran in cross country this past fall and enjoys reading & video games.

Ian is in 6th grade in the Wheaton schools, and this is his third year singing in Anima. Ian enjoys singing, Scouting and physical fitness.
