Performance Opportunities

AnimaSingers AlumniAnima looks for performance opportunities for alums and they will be posted on this site. If alums are planning a social occasion (Laura Blubaugh hosted an event over the holidays) details can also be posted on this site. Please contact the office (sing@animasingers.org) with anything you would like included for your fellow alums.

  • Alums joined the rest of the Anima ensembles for a Carol Sing on stage at Wentz Hall in Naperville for the holiday concert ”Hearts on Fire” in December 2008.

  • In August 2008 a group of alums joined the Chicago Sinfonietta for a wonderful production of Gustav Holst's Planets at Millennium Park. The beautiful evening was filled with magnificent, haunting music combined with astronomical images projected above the singers.

    • Internships

    Anima is always open to any alum wishing to intern in the summer. We have a number of interns over the years, most recently, Kelly Bylica and Rachel Wendte who interned over the summer of 2010. If you are interested, please call Priscilla Smith at 630-858-2471 or email sing@animasingers.org.
